CULTURE AND RELIGION EN ROUTE TSUM-MANASLU AND MANANG AREAS:
Nepal is a country of great diversity of landscape and people with their age-old religions, cultures, and heritage. The mid-hill people around the high Manaslu,
Tsum Valley, and Manang areas, are populated by the highlanders of the North Mid-Western Himalayas. The natives of the high valley of Tsum, Manaslu, and
Manang till Mustang are of strong Tibetan origin people. Interwoven with the Tibetan Buddhist religion of Mahayana sects of Buddhism, similar cultural
heritage of their Tibetan predecessors.

FOODS, ACCOMMODATION AND LODGES FACILTIES:
The food and lodge accommodations around Tsum Valley are simple and basic, on leaving the Manaslu Circuit route from Jagat. From Namrung and Lo-Gaon till Sama-Gaon and till Dharapani and Koto with good lodge rooms and food. The only limited food menu with simple room accommodations is around the Tsum and Nar-Phu region.
The rest of the areas offer excellent rooms with a comprehensive food menu from Continental, Chinese, Indian, Nepali, and Tibetan main course with a choice of
soups. The lodge accommodation and food are best in the Manang and at Muktinath till Jomsom. The lodge accommodations on this trek are simple with
nice rooms. The rooms are on a shared basis with common bathrooms and toilets due to harsh terrain conditions.

The plumbing systems for running water freeze in the morning, evening, and nighttime. Due to freezing temperatures above 3,000 m higher, using hot showers
is at an extra cost. All lodges have electricity to light the large dining room powered by local hydro or solar power. For charging electronic items, at an extra cost per hour and for each gadget. Internet and Wi-Fi are available, but it is slow and disturbing in some places due to weather conditions. In a large group with more than 4 people, it is best to order a set meal for all.
